Arts event in Bristol supporting people with learning disabilities, mental health needs and dementia in the South West.
Expressions is the creative arts festival run by Milestones Trust, a charity supporting those with learning difficulties, mental health needs and dementia in the South West of England.
The festival is back for its fourth year of stunning installations, surprising art and sensory stimulation. Visit on Saturday 13 April to Sunday 21 April to see the fabulous landscape of interactive art.
Milestones Trust will be working alongside professional artists in the run up to the even to bring the outside in, creating an indoor garden fete, secret garden, park and much more! You will enter through the craft marquee and then encounter the enchanted forest of hanging trees, the needle felted sculpture trail, the graffiti tunnel and finally the beautiful secret garden.
The secret garden is full of knitted plants, and you can make birds, flowers and tiny boats to sail down the stream and into the park pond, where you'll find the outdoor cafe as well as games and a bandstand!
The first weekend of the festival will be jam packed with workshops, exhibitions and talks. You can try needle felting, knitting, photography, drawing, making electronic music and more.
