Clear film (clear film food wrap / clear film from packaging)

Fimo or other oven hardened modelling clay in various colours

Make up the boxes as above but also cut out the central panel and apply clear film to the back of the lid. Make and bake as per the manufacturer's instructions some Fimo soaps in different shapes and colours. Glue them in place in the box.

Box of bath cubes

Materials

Lightweight card and PVA glue

Clear film (clear film food wrap or clear film cut from packaging)

Cut outs

Fimo or other oven hardened modelling clay in various colours

Make up the boxes as above but also cut out the central panel and apply clear film to the back of the lid. Make a flat block of Fimo about ⅛in thick to fit into each box. Mark the top of the Fimo with a craft knife to represent the shape of the cubes. Bake the Fimo as per the manufacturer's instructions and when cold glue the blocks into the boxes.

Boxed mirror, brush and comb set

Lightweight card

PVA glue

Clear film (clear film food wrap or cut from packaging)

Cut outs

1:12 scale hand mirror, brush and comb sets

Perfume bottles

Materials

Selection of beads

Sequins, bead caps and small eyelets

Small brass pins or nails

Use a selection of beads in varying shapes and sizes for the bottles and caps. Add a sequin, bead cap or eyelet between the bottle and cap for extra decoration. Use Super glue beads together with an appropriately sized brass pin or nail glued down the central holes to keep the beads aligned.

Pots of powder

Materials

Drinking straw

Decorative paper (dolls' house wallpaper/wrapping paper with a small print)

Glue stick

Thin card and a paper hole punch

Label cut outs

White screw cap covers

The taller cylindrical talcum powder pots are made from a drinking straw cut into sections 34in long sections. Cut a piece of decorative paper to cover the straw, apply glue stick and wrap the paper around the straw tucking the paper in at either end. Use a paper hole punch to cut circles from thin card and glue one to each end of the covered straws. Cut out the labels from the magazine and glue on.

The small loose face powder style pots are made from white screw cap covers with labels glued on the top.

Lavender bags

Materials

Length of 1/2in wide lace

Needle and thread

Lavender coloured tissue paper

Coloured embroidery thread

Take a length of 12 inch wide lace and cut it into sections 34 inch long. Fold it in half and over sew around the bottom and side edges. Insert a piece of lavender coloured scrunched up tissue paper before tying the top of bag with a piece coloured embroidery thread ending in a bow. Glue the lavender bags into a display basket.
